We are now interested in speaking with experienced Consultant and Senior Consultant ENT to join the Qatar government funded national health service, who is the main provider of secondary and tertiary healthcare services with a multi-national workforce of over 29,000 professionals working in 12 hospitals, nine specialist hospitals and three community hospitals as well as the National Ambulance Service and home and residential care services.
The ENT Department offers a broad range of services carried out by a highly qualified team of physicians, surgeons, nurses and allied health professionals spanning a number of specialties to ensure a patient always receives the best possible care. Patients of all ages are treated - from the newborn to the elderly, and most without surgical intervention.
General ENT services and the following subspecialties are offered:
• Otology (including neuro-otology)
• Rhinology (including allergies, skull base and facial plastics)
• Head and neck surgery (including snoring, voice and swallowing)
• Audiology
• Pediatric ORL-HNS
This organisation has strong partnerships with Weill Cornell Medicine, SIDRA, Qatar Biomedical Research Institute, Primary Health Care Corporation, The University of Qatar, The University of Calgary, The American College of Surgeons/Committee on Trauma, BTLS International USA, UK Resuscitation Council, European Resuscitation Council, Advanced Life Support Group (UK) the American Academy of Family Physicians and the College of the North Atlantic and is already the first outside of the US to have all of its hospitals by the Joint Commission International (JCI).
It is also the first hospital system in the Middle East to achieve institutional accreditation from the ACGME International

What do I need?
We are keen to speak with experienced Physicians that have gained a licence to practice with one of the following:
• Arab Board of Health Specializations
• USA - The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
• Canada - Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (RCPS-C)
• UK - GMC/CCST Specialist Register
• Germany - Fachartz Specialist Certificate
• Sweden - Swedish Board
• Australia and New Zealand – Fellowship from the Royal Australia and New Zealand Colleges
However, Specialist registration from other countries will be considered after an equivalence review
How much experience do I need?
Consultants: should have held a Consultant post for at least 1 year
Senior Consultants: should have held a Senior Consultant post for at least 1 year, or a period of 6 years consultant experience is required.
Please Note: Physicians that hold a non-western qualification and do not hold a fellowship cannot be considered
